Helsing Junction Farm has been growing organic vegetables in Rochester since 1992, back when the idea of a CSA was still new to most of the country. The farm started small — just 75 members in that first season — and over the years grew into one of the region's longest-running CSA operations, at one point serving more than 1,200 households.

In 2020, ownership passed to Jessica Armstrong and Angie Camp, who took on the job of carrying the farm's history forward while shaping its next chapter. Today Helsing Junction farms about 12 acres and serves 550 members, a scale the team has chosen deliberately — one that lets them stay close to the soil and the produce instead of just the spreadsheet.

Farming here is a group effort. The whole team takes real pride in two things: the health and fertility of the soil, and the beauty of what comes out of it. Those two go hand in hand — good soil is what makes our vegetables taste as good as they do, and it shows in the way the produce looks come harvest time.

Helsing Junction is a proud member of the Southwest Washington Growers Cooperative, contributing to the Harvest Box and the broader Food Hub network that connects farms like theirs directly to households across Thurston and Lewis counties.
